Tennessee Student Survey Grades 6,8,10,12

Coffee County Schools is participating in a statewide student survey to assess the extent of alcohol, drug, and tobacco use among 6th to 12th graders throughout Tennessee and to evaluate the impact of prevention efforts aimed at reducing substance use. From our county, 6th,8th,10th and 12th graders will participate in the survey. The school system is working with the Tennessee Division of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Services (DADAS). Tennessee New Graduation Requirements

The Tennessee Department of Education is implementing the Tennessee Diploma Project (TDP), a reform initiative with new graduation requirements and more rigorous curriculum standards. The purpose of the TDP is to challenge students and better prepare them for college and the workforce. The first group to be impacted are current 9th grade students.

The Tennessee Department of Accountability has recently released the 2009 Report Cards for the state, as well as for every system and school in the state of Tennessee.  Please click here to access the 2009 Report Card.
